Hudson Collection
The Hudson collection pays homage to the designer’s voyages through Los Angeles, New York and London. Moving beyond traditional fine jewellery design, the collection showcases stones such as labradorite and tsavorite, a relatively young, vivid green gemstone that displays great brilliance. These stones are often paired with distinctive finishes or combined with more traditional gems such as diamonds. Australian South Sea pearls, Tahitian pearls and bright semi-precious materials, such as coral and jasper in a variety of colours, also feature.

Milan Fashion Week SS’13
Sheer Lace
Sheer made an appearance in New York and London, so of course Milan had to continue the trend! Gowns waltzed down the runway with expert sheer lace detailing and elegant silhouettes. We love the delicate lacework and soft colors.
Print Blocking
One of the most popular trends this season is blocking. This is either done with prints and colors, like Gabriele Colangelo and No. 21, or prints on prints, like Dolce & Gabbana. Whichever way you decide to wear it, bright colors and bold prints are key!
Stripes
Stripes are making a comeback on the runway this season, creating looks ranging from retro-mod to simple and clean-cut. Diagonal stripes were paired with vertical and horizontal stripes to mix up the traditional striped look. Similar to London and New York, different textures and sizes were paired together to create sporty- feminine looks.
Fringe
From the classic 20s inspired look to a modern sexy mini, fringe popped up in Milan and made a big statement. Bottega Veneta and Roberto Cavalli put their own twists on the iconic flapper look, while Versace opted for a disco glamour look.
Diagonal Lines
Geometric cuts and patterns have been spotted on all the runways these few weeks, and Milan is no exception. For a bold look, try Versace’s peek-a-boo cut dress or Just Cavalli’s mix of fabric cuts and patterned lines. Genny and Sportmax opted for softer colors and clean-cut lines.
Karl Lagerfeld x Fossil: Sneak a Peek at the Watches Now
A little over a year ago, we heard that Karl Lagerfeld was working on a line of watches for Fossil. Then, as the designer proceeded to appear in a Snoop Dogg music video, adopt Choupette and create makeup with Shu Uemura, it totally slipped our minds—but that won't happen again. WWD shared some early pictures of the collection this morning, and it's unforgettably cool.
There are seven styles in all, but we only got a glimpse of "The Chain" and "The Manchette" timepieces. It's reported that the rest will come in an assortment of colors and be decorated with pyramid studs, metallic leathers and shiny chains. Also, each one will incorporate an engraving of the Kaiser's unmistakable ponytailed profile.
"Like beautiful bracelets," Lagerfeld explained by way of description. "I love watches as beautiful objects."
Since the fancy wristwear was designed by fashion royalty, each one costs a tad bit more than a regular Fossil watch would—but not by much. Priced between $150 and $595, none of them are this-is-my-birthday-Christmas-and-Hanukkah-gift-combined expensive. You might, however, need to forgo impulse purchases for a few weeks. Or you can start saving now—the watches don't hit stores until February 28, so you have a few months to put some funds away.

MFW AW13 Dolce&Gabbana
Taking inspiration from the Catholic Church, more specifically the golden mosaics of Sicily’s Cathedral of Monreale, the AW13 Dolce&Gabbana collection was as opulent as ever. With gold as the reigning colour throughout – from the crowns to the embroidery to the intricate prints – it was a collection that made you want to stop and look closely, for the beauty was in the detail. Complex embellishment across all of the eveningwear (designed to look like religious figures), an interlude of menswear inspired grey blocks and lace in myriad forms the Dolce woman next season is not for the light-hearted. Ending on an army of red gowned models who paraded down the catwalk in unison, the designers gave us a romanticised view of the this religious outlet.
